Here are the facts:
I worked for a California company, have only a California W-2, paid my UI taxes there, and did a UI claim through California with an out-of-state address and drivers license. The out of state license was probably what triggered an identity verification process I got but that eventually worked out after a long wait.
My UI benefit year began on 3/29 of this year. I recently exhausted my benefits for the normal 6 months and I haven't received notice one way or the other about PEUC. Since it's been 3 weeks since I reached my 'maximum benefits paid', I decided to call EDD. I was able to speak to someone via the 833 number. She told me that I am ineligible for PEUC because I'm "no longer living in California". I told her that I don't qualify in any other state, as CA is where I paid my taxes. She suggested changing my mailing address to a CA one (which would trigger a new identity verification) and / or waiting for my notice of disqualification to arrive so I could then appeal.
The way I read the PEUC eligibility criteria I should be eligible - "Do not qualify for a new UI claim in California or any other state." (this is a quote from the FED-ED crieteria) but I'm assuming it's relevant for PEUC too.
TL;DR: Since my only W-2 is from California I don't quality in any other state, only in CA. What am I to do? :-/
P.S. I've attached both "main page" and "claim history" screenshots from my EDD online account.
